Join us for wine, hors-d'oeuvres, friendship & fine art! Charity to benefit Lake Arrowhead Rotary Foundation
Wood turning has allowed Holger to combine his artistic visions, mathematical mindset, and pure joy of working with wood to create his pieces. Segmented wood turning allows Holger to incorporate his own creative style while bringing the natural beauty of the wood to the forefront. The majority of work is done with all-natural colored woods. Recycled materials from discarded objects are used whenever possible to reduce environmental impact.
Julie R. Evans prefers to work in oils, painting realistic scenes that are little slices of life. Her main inspiration is the natural world and day-to-day life, and she is often struck by spontaneous observations that yield successful paintings. Her landscapes convey a feeling of calm and serenity, a place for quiet contemplation.
The Rotary Club of Lake Arrowhead is first "service above self". We are dedicated to serving those in need in our community and elsewhere.
